My first ultrasound when I was pregnant with my first was done at 6 weeks and it was a vaginal ultrasound. My second (current) pregnancy my first ultrasound they scheduled I will be 8 weeks so I’m wondering if they would do a vaginal or they can do a regular tummy one??? What kind of ultrasound did you ladies get for your first?

I had an US at 8 weeks with baby #2. The tech tried the abdominal first but couldn't see anything so she had to switch to Vaginal.

Had mine today and I'm measuring 8wks3dys although by lmp suppose to be 9wks2dys but she did abdominal.

I had my first us at 7week was a tummy one, think it'll be tge same for you. But guess it depends on what the can see xx

Most doctors would still did vaginal. My doctor does vaginal only up to 12 weeks.
