When to test

So I usually get my period on the 22nd every month then last month Jan I got it the 30th so weird so now my ovulation is all messed up and not sure if I go by the 22nd or 30th ahhhh! We are trying to conceive so when do you think we should take a pregnancy test ? I'm thinking the 22nd or 23rd?
