Height & Weight of baby
So my daughter is petite she's going to be 10 months and weighs 15lbs and is 27 inches long, we just met our neighbors and the lady goes oh she's big.... this isn't the first time someone said this to me about her. I don't even know how to respond without sounding offended, I'm just confused because I don't care if my daughter is big or not lol but it's just odd to me that the doctor says my daughter is creeping up in weigh but accept that she's just petite but then people say she's big?!? I find it sooo strange, so tell me moms how old is your little one and what is their weight and height?!? TIA

My daughter was about that height and weight at that age. And she was on the small side in my mommy group. She's 2.5 yrs old and seems to have finally caught up to everyone!

My 13 month old is 31+ inches tall and about 26ish lbs.

I think people will say anything just so that they have something to say. My daughter is 3 months and weighs 13lbs and is 25in.

My son was 18.4lbs and 26.5in at 6 months. He is now 12 months and weighs in at 22.4lbs and 31in long?. I think part of the problem is people are always comparing babies and forgetting that they are all different.
He started walking/running at 9 months so people would as if he was a year old mainly because he is tall for his age.

My LO has always been tall and a higher weight than the generic standard states she "should be." I'm fine with that. She's 2yo and has been as tall as most 3yos since she was 1.5yo. Her growth has slowed down a lot since she hit 1.5, which is also fine with me because she's still a couple inches taller than most other 2yo.
Some kids grow tall fast, others grow teeth and talk fast.
Most of the other 2yo I know are talking in phrases while my LO is just saying single words or sometimes 2 word phrases. I don't mind. She's learning words very quickly right now and will "catch up" to other kids soon enough.
I understand the annoyance. They're little kids and already they're being compared to others. I'm sick of it but oh well. My LO is perfect the way she is, just like all other LOs who are short or tall or skinny or heavy. Eventually they'll grow and gain weight or height and even out.

My girl is def a big girl. She's 8 months and 27.5 lbs and 29 inches long lol. But she was big at birth she was 11 lbs 14 ozs and 23 inches long

My daughter is almost 10 months old, she's 20lbs even and 30in long. She was in the 60th percentile for weight and the 93rd percentile for height. So she's on the upper end, especially for height, she's not small for her age! I get comments all over the board too ? I've had people tell me that she's small for her age and other people look at me like I'm lying when I tell them she's 10 months and not over a year old.
