my son was born with reflux... I have been thru 7 formulas plus breastfeeding and 2 diff medication... zantac didn't work for us so now we're on compounded prevacid and a special formula for acid reflux n spit up... it's rough as he vomits so often and so much but the acid aspect of it seems to have subsided with the medicine this time! good luck!

My baby is on Zantac plus Prevacid I don't like having him on medication but sometimes you have to do it when your baby is in pain. All I can say is good luck, it is a rough journey of sleepless nights but the medicine does help!

Have you tried a chiropractor for the baby? My daughter had acid reflux and she was prescribed Zantac as well, but I found a chiropractor that taught me how to change her diaper without upsetting her reflux more, as well as adjusting her to help keep it under control. Idk about you, but I just prefer not giving my baby meds unless absolutely necessary. So using the chiropractor was really helpful for us.

My daughter was diagnosed with reflux at only a few weeks old. She would scream and cry after every feeding...which was a lot at that age. They prescribed her liquid Zantac. It worked well. She stopped needing it around 6-7 months once she was eating solids. I will say that I believe she still has a mild reflux issue at 4 years old because the girl brings stuff up infrequently and will throw up at the drop of a hat. They say she's fine though!
