No. Just NO. He has one wife, that's you. How does being a lesbian excuse him giving her a title/important role in his life? I'm not the delusional type that feels all women are out to steal my husband, but there are boundaries with anyone.

I know that work wife is a term that is loosely thrown around so it really isnt a big deal. Doesnt necessarily mean that she is taking a role in any way as a wife. However, while being insecure I would just ask as a favor if he could tone it down or create some distance since this is how you are feeling. Shouldnt be an issue.

Yeah it's used very loosely where I live in NY, it's just annoying and the first person made a good point like what is she doing to obtain that title? Yeah when i worked in ny that was a popular term and idea, and it was pretty common. Honestly if i didnt know the girl well i would feel a bit uncomfortable too. Maybe im the jealous type but im thinking most real men shouldnt need a work wife and vice versa. Its kind of an immature concept if you really think about it? Like does mark zuckerberg or steve jobs (rip) have a work wife? Probably not! They just have their head down doing their jobs and do it well.

Yeah I had one of those.. guys who would call me that.. then he started acting like we were really in a relationship and trying to be sexual with me.. sounds like maybe they flirt.. she's probably bi and not lesbian.. I would have a talk with him and just let him know your the jealous type n the only wife he has is you.. that she can go find a different work husband.. n if she is a lesbian then shouldn't she have a work wife instead of husband.

Heard that. I find it all so disrespectful. That's great they're friends but the term tries to normalize an emotional affair .. personal boundaries are overstepped in those situations.

My husband had one of those kind of ladies at work (her husband knew of it and joked about it) and while she wasn't my husband's work wife, when opportunity arisen she blatantly said she'd like to f* my husband. I had this woman and her husband at my house for his birthday party, she had given us a platter of Christmas cookies at the holiday. And just like that... I'm of the mind there are no boundaries in these type of people who "joke" work wife/work husband.
