Nothing getting done
Anyone else's house a total disaster right now? Between working full time and the fatigue and constant horrible nausea I can't bring myself to do anything. Laundry and dishes are piled up and I can't get off the couch ?

Yes trying to take care of my boys while feeling like this is so hard. They have been eating mostly microwaved meals because I get nauseous and dizzy just trying to cook. I feel so bad.

It's been a rough week at our house! My husband was away 2 nights and I'm struggling to keep things going, it's taking all of me to watch our 2 & 4 yr olds. Lots of simple meals, naps and movies.

Yess. Same here. ??♀️ I’m in school full time and also work part time. With homework and studying, I feel like I never have the time to do the normal laundry, cleaning, or even cooking.

Really struggling with this. The fatigue is crippling me, barely able for our daughters moodys at the moment, she's teething. The house looks like a nuclear bomb went off most of the time.
I had our teenagers vacuuming and mopping the floor today. Then I come into the kitchen to find the younger of the two making a sandwich and getting crumbs all over the floor. Denies it was him. The place is a mess, but it's never anyone's fault. 'It wasn't me' is the standard response.
One of these days I'm going to have a 'Falling Down' moment ?

The key to this is staying on it .
For me I haaaaaate having to do a pile of dishes or having stuff out so I wash dishes as I make them and put them away soon after .
Laundry I wash asap buttttt my biggest down fall is not folding right away. But I do my husbands clothes once a day on week days and fold that right away . My kids put their clothes away so that also helps .
Cleaning the bathroom get Lysol or Clorox wipes and do it daily just a quick wipe spray the toilet with cleaner and do it real quick windex the mirror and surrounding tile and it will be done in less time then it will take for your coffee to finish. Do the tub once a week or what I do is got a dish wand from dollar store and put dish soap ( best cleaner for shower in the world) and clean the shower before I shower.
Floors I use a Velda spin mop and mop daily but I do it quick and only need one pass if I do it weekly I have to really scrub and do many passes and it takes me an hour or so this way I can do the whole upstairs and down in 10-15 mins depending if there’s kids ( I use a drizzle of dawn and a splash of mr clean I have hard wood and ceramic tile )
Vacuum I do daily down stairs where the kids stay but upstairs weekly.
Kitchen I tidy while cooking , if I’m waiting for something to boil I’ll wipe a couple cupboards or if I’m cooking something in the ovens I’ll do the entire counter and back splash.
The worse feeling in the world is knowing you have hours of cleaning to do .
I prefer 5 mins here 10 mins there.
Also I use the mop with a separate head to do walls ( the actual mop part comes off and is about $7 cand to replace ) it takes me no time to do my whole upstairs I just do a couple walls at a time but it’s no effort this way!!!

I’m the same way as you mamachey only I have a 3 story house and do laundry daily with 6 people in the house and cloth diapers... my older does his own laundry though... and they help with chores- they do both bathrooms too and help clean down tables and dishes and such...
HOWEVER, the fatigue is real... and the guilt is real.. it WON’T last... eventually you will have the energy and the stamina to catch up and clean... for now, if you gotta rest, rest... I am!!! After 5 pregnancies, I am trying not to feel guilty about the bitty things

I wish I could do a little laundry every day to stay on top of it. Unfortunately I have to do mine at a laundromat on my days off. I skipped last week because I was so sick on my day off so now I have 2 weeks of laundry to do ?

Lucky you Kd! ? You actually just reminded me something my husband did last week.
So I had been loading coloureds into the washing machine, went for a nap and said I'll start the wash as soon as I get up. I didn't want the clean washing sitting in the machine when it was done. Now, my husband normally never goes near the machines due to past mess ups anytime he tried to do anything. But this day he thought he would help.... ?
I woke up and went down to the kitchen, into the utility room and here he was doing something with the washing machine while the dryer was spinning round. I just knew if he started the washing machine it couldn't have stopped already. He had put the unwashed things into the dryer, and started another (very mixed, coloureds & whites etc) wash on. When I looked in the detergent drawer and he had put the powder in where the liquid detergent goes. So nothing would have washed at all. I said a few things that may have involved profanities, and may have told him never to go in the utility room again ?
Show him how to use the machines, right? Nope. I've shown him this before. And... If you can't tell the difference between washed and dirty laundry... ?

My husband and two sons (14 & 16 yrs) all do the same thing. I think the plan is to make a mess of any job they do, so I will insist on doing it myself! They definitely have a system ?
