Pretty easy labor, woke up at 5:30 am with strong contractions, already about 5 minutes apart. But I was having double-peaking contractions so it was more like every 2.5 minutes, I thought I was dying! Lol. Then I sat on my ball and started rocking my hips which helped so much.
I was able to last about 2 hours at home, then told SO it was time to go. Got to the hospital and was 4 cm. Got my epidural ASAP and was checked again and was 6-7 and nurse could feel baby's head.
She had me lay on my side and try to take a nap but at 11:30 I felt a pop and fluid run down my legs, my water had broken. I was 9 cm so she had me lay on my other side for a bit, I started feeling the urge to push so she checked me again and sure enough I was a 10. Pushed through 3 or 4 contractions and he was out at 12:32! 7 lbs 8 oz and perfect!
Dr said I just had a little scrape, needed a few stitches. Baby nursed for a good 40 minutes as soon as he was done stitching me up. We're both doing fantastic!
