I do have vértice ridges, but I’m not deficient. I also wanted to say hangnails can also be a sign of dehydration. That’s when I get them ?

I have signs of low thyroid but all my “moons” are there except my two pinkies are pretty small moons. Still there though. I do have low iron especially during pregnancy.

I don’t have any half moons visible. You can see them when you push my cuticles back, but I do have thyroid problems.

Holds true for me. I have vertical ridges and I’ve always had low iron. I always get rejected when I try to donate blood.

I only have a moon on my thumbs, but my thyroid is slightly hyperactive and I can't keep weight on recently, but the chart makes it seem that no moon only applies to hypothyroidism so not sure if that applies.

I have 1 moon on my right thumb, and have had my thyroid tested. No issues.

I have moons on all fingers and thumbs other than my little fingers.. also have low thyroid although I’m medicated for it and have had stable results for years now.

I have verticals ridges and I’m anemic. I also have only a couple moons and have a B12 deficiency. My thyroid was recently tested and found normal, but thyroid issues run in my family.

I had to ask the dr to test over several months, because one day the levels can be fine, and the next week they're not. 1 test rarely will diagnose thyroid issues. I had thinning hair and unnatural weight gain with a healthy diet and excercise. I was ALWAYS tired and could sleep for days if someone let me.

I have a moons on most my fingers but small on the small fingers, it's really hard to see. I just got my thyroid checked and it's fine.

I only have one moon on my right thumb too @jane. I read somewhere it could indicate b12 deficiency. I've always been told my thyroid levels were within normal range so this is interesting. Maybe I need to get a more Recent blood test because my nails are also very brittle always have been nd I know that can indicate thyroid issues

I'm missing 4 moons, and the vertical ridge falls true for me.

I have 3 moons out of 10 fingernails & I have hashimotis hypothyroidism.
