Despite the masks we all wore (I even slept with mine on!), despite our hands being basically raw from the amount of times we were washing them, and despite every other thing we were doing to prevent it... he got sick anyway. 8 weeks old; positive for the flu. Please say a prayer that my little guy gets through this quickly!

Mine isn't sick. But when my daughter got sick (17 months old now) wed do the humidifier if she was stuffy at night, vicks (bottom of the feet then put socks on so it doesn't get everywhere) and sounds gross but if you have or invest in a nose frida (it's was a godsend for us). Also, helps if they are propped up a little. Mine slept in a rock n play.

Use a cool mist humidifier, saline, nose bulb and prop lo so they don't gag from it draining down. Gl

Poor baby! I am seriously hoping to avoid this. We all got our flu shots, including my 14mo old but he goes to daycare so I know there's still a solid chance he brings it home despite our efforts.
Feeling for you, momma! The PP had old recommendation. Make sure your LO stays hydrated. Sometimes they don't feel like eating when they don't feel good.
I used a dropper to feed with my son when he was 3mo and sick and refused to eat. Did the truck till he got past it.

Our lil man caught a bug from his sister at almost 3 weeks.. we did saline..hydra sense..humidifier..steamy showers..essential oils... it was a long week ..he's 5 weeks now and seems to have a old coming on again... wonderful time of year ..ugh
