I'm staring at my calendar and I had 3 appointments. First one was for blood work and ultrasound, 2nd was for blood work and ultrasound again and 3rd was the day before my FET just for blood work.
They had me call them when AF arrived after my retrieval. Then, I took BC for 2 weeks and went in for bloodwork/ultrasound. They gave me the okay to start Estradiol at that appointment. 13 days after starting estradiol and I had my second appointment for bloodwork/ultrasound. They wanted to make sure my lining was the thickness it needed to be.. and they gave me the okay to start progesterone. 5-6 days after that I had my transfer.
I guess the injections keep everything in line for the transfer? I don't really know. I probably don't ask as many questions as I should! Lol.
Because with egg retrieval, they're stimulating you so much, they want to make sure they don't over stimulate you by constantly counting follicles and getting blood work. With FET, they check your progesterone & estrogen levels through blood work and just check your lining to make sure it's getting thick enough. If your progressing the way you should, you don't have many appointments.

I only had 2 doctor's appointments between my retrieval and FET.
