Still in pain ? heating pad has been helpful. By when this pain will go away? Any recommendations? Am super bloated too

I had terrible pain for about a week afterwards.. I didn't feel well enough for the fresh transfer but they did it anyway. I was so bloated and really struggled to walk. Rehydrate as best you can and give yourself a break with your feet up! You've earned it! Xx

By the way my fresh transfer didn't work but my frozen did!! I was so relaxed on the frozen cycle, I'm sure this helped.. xx

Shame man! I didn't find it that painful. If I walked a lot or sat down then I was sore but the bloating got worse after retrieval. I was bloated for a week... so much so I looked pregnant for 4 days. You are sore because you had so many eggs removed ? were they all mature?

I had an endometrial scratch last week and everyone said that wasn't so bad. I found it as painful as the HCG.

I only had 5 eggs retrieved and was still in quite a lot of pain for the first 3 days. It took about a week to fully recover. I took paracetamol constantly for the first 3 days which helped me. Good news is that my transfer was completely pain free (except that my bladder was too full, so the pressure on that was awful!). Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon?

Transfer was painless... I really enjoyed my frozen cycle.. I did acupuncture too and was sooooo relaxed! X

Am waiting for the call today to tell me how many survived.am also having a scratch next month am not looking forward to the pain either

Out of the 33 only 17 were matured and 14 fertilized today. So far only 14 made it.

After retrieval did you have frequent urination ?

Yes but that calms down in about 3 days. I was so bloated I looked pregnant and I waddled like a duck. I didn't take meds really because they made me sleepy.

The endo scratch is not pleasant. You cramp during and after for about 5-10min and then I was hundreds. I wasn't expecting it to be so sore but it's at least quick. I had a little bleeding that night and spotting the next day. Uterus felt a bit crampy and avoided sex for a few days but after that it's been fine

Were you on bcp before stims? That makes the follicles mature at roughly the same time. All 20 of mine matured but 7 of them fertilized abnormally. Had 13 embryos make it to Day 5 but 2 did not look like they would survive, they slowed right down. So had 11 tested and 4 came back normal ?

No bcp just the IVF meds.
