I just had my second FET

1st BFP but miscarried at 6 weeks

Just had my second transfer June 1st. I am 7dp5dt. Beta was 76 today! Yayyyy

My doctor prefers frozens so your can rid your body of all the stim meds.

My fet protocol was birth control about 3 weeks then progesterone and estrogen.

Due to me being at risk for OHSS and my levels being so high we had to do a frozen transfer the following month after my retrieval. My protocol was Estrace 3x day, baby aspirin, started the Progesterone in oil shots 5 days before transfer and will continue all three of these everyday until I'm 9 weeks. Also put on Medrol and Doxycycline to prepare for transfer. I'm currently 6 weeks and heading to our first ultrasound appointment.

I had a successful fresh transfer and just got a BFP from FET last week. Personally I found the fresh transfer much easier. I was only on stimming meds for 9 days and then a 5 day transfer. This FET cycle was torture. It was 2 months long and the bcp gave me migraines, I had 3 periods, and my emotions we're all over the place. Most will disagree with me but maybe it's just the way my body reacts.

I was on lupron for 4 weeks, estrace, pio injections 5 days before transfer, and progesterone suppositories 3 days before transfer. Like pp said I'll be on all these until 9-10 weeks.

Littlebabyw - I completely agree with you! I was the same way. My body doesn't seem to care for fake hormones.

Am doing frozen due to my endo lining being too thick. We don't know if it was due to hormones if it's still too thick next month then I need to do an endo scratch. Tomorrow is my retrieval. 14 follicles so far boy am I bloated. They gave me Lupron for ohss. Good luck to all

My 2 1/2 year old was a frozen transfer. 3 days ago just did another frozen cycle as I had 4 left from 3 years ago. The nurse said that frozen has a 2-3% higher chance to stick.

My son was the result of a FET after a failed fresh. The baby I'm carrying now is from a fresh cycle. So I'm 1/1 on the FET and 1/2 of the fresh, but I loved both experiences. We have 1 frozen embryo for when this baby is 1 1/2 I will have transferred. Then hopefully I'll be 2/2 on FETs ??
