Can someone share with me their IVF process
Hello ladies, I currently started working for the ny state and will have empire plan which covers ivf ??. Can you explain the process to me and how many visits you had prior to ivf? I did 2 iui and they were negative. Doc told me I'll be a good candidate for ivf. Just a bit concern with how many time off I would have to request from work. Were you able to return after egg retrieval and transfer?

I had appts every other day while stimming and then every day towards the end. I stimmed for 7.5 days, triggered and egg retrieval was 36 hours later. I was SUPER sore after ER, but if it's a desk job I bet you'd be okay. They put you to sleep for the ER, so I think you'd want to take that day off and maybe day of transfer too (the Valium made me really sleepy). I think most offices do ivf appts really early in the morning so working patients don't have to miss a ton of work. Hopefully your ER or ET will fall on a weekend!

I went in for a consult, again for a baseline before stims, and every day of stims (10 days) for blood work. Good luck!!
