I'm probably not a good person to give advice considering I don't get the flu shot pregnant or not. I just don't trust them. I definitely wouldn't trust while I'm pregnant! I'm on baby #5 and have never got the shot and me and my babies are healthy... hope this helps a little

This is my fourth pregnancy and my dr made me get one every time around 8 to 10 weeks other wise I have never gotten them before I was pregnant.

If you get one I'd wait as long as possible. The whole correlation between miscarriage and flu shots is for first trimester moms who also received a flu shot the year before. I never get one myself, pregnant or not pregnant.

I didn't as well. I did get one after she was born. I just feel weary about getting it while I'm pregnant.

I've had one every time I was pregnant and everything was fine. Last time I was in my first trimester and I will be this time around too. If it wasn't safe, the doctor's wouldn't allow you to have one. However, it is completely your choice. There are many people that choose not to get their flu shot. When I'm not pregnant I don't get one unless I have a doctor's appointment around flu season.

I got one both times I was pregnant. First time I was in first trimester and last time I was in 3rd trimester. I haven’t gotten one yet bc I was sick when they came to my school this past week. However, I plan on getting one when I see my dr next Monday. There are so many strains of the flu though! I got the stomach flu with both of my kids and that was terrible.

I got a flu shot with my last pregnancy and will do so again this pregnancy.

Go look at the package insert. The package insert says not recommended for pregnant women, yet many doctors are recommending them. Also, look for safety studies in pregnant women. You won't find any. You will find a few studies showing a link between them and miscarriages. For me, I have had 5 miscarriages and as well as heavy metal poisoning induced Fybromyalgia. My doctor's office always asks me if I want them, but my doctor himself does not recommend them for me or my family.

Don’t know how different it is in the U.S but here in the U.K every pregnant woman is offered the flu jab as it’s quite dangerous for the baby if you were to get the flu. I went for mine the other day at 8 weeks and the nurse told me the earlier you get it the better as I was a little worried but it’s all good, I had it with my first pregnancy too and had no problems?
