Hey ladies I was wondering when you announced or are going to announce ? I wanted to wait until 12 weeks but my dad is having two surgeries this month and his first surgery is the day after my first scan at 7 weeks so I'm contemplating if I should just wait until 12weeks or if I should announce now? Im contemplating it because this will be his 2nd surgery in 3 months and he's been feeling a bit down. I was thinking it might make him happy to know he's gonna be a grandpa lol. This will be his first grandchild. But on the flip side I'm hesitant because I want to make sure everything is going good with the baby. What would you ladies do?

I'm announcing during Halloween I'll be about 12 weeks then. I think it's bad luck to announce super early, but that's your personal preference.

I like to keep everything to myself until I'm out of the first trimester

This is your dad. Do what you think is right. Just bc you tell your dad doesn't mean you have to announce it on social media. I told my parents right away bc we are so close. And your situation is so meaningful. I would tell him if it were me! Prayers for you, the baby & your dad ?❤️

I tell my parents everything. I told them as soon as I knew I was pregnant. I'll tell everyone else around 12 weeks. Do what feels right for you.

I can't keep anything from my parents lol but I'm super close with my family. I called and told them immediately once we got our BFP with each baby. I wouldn't announce it on social media till you are farther along though.

Thank you for the advice ladies. I think I will just tell my close family and wait until 13 weeks to announce it to everyone.

Only a handful of people know for us and it’s basically the people I would want to support me if I were to mc.

That’s it. No one else knows. My two little girls don’t know yet. We will tell them after 12wks.

I announced at 8 weeks with my son

I am 6 weeks pregnant, on the first pregnancy I told my parents pretty early and on this one I have already told 2 friends also. If something happens, they will be there to support me.
