Bumbo chairs don't help them hold their head up, so my guess is that your baby is a little too young. She will be ready for it when she has excellent head control.

Try it and see how she does. Probably not ready but you can see how she feels in it. Ive put my son in it for a few minutes when he was like 6 weeks cuz hes always trying to sit up. Obviously i had to support his head a bit but he liked it for 5 minutes he was in it lol

I had a Bumbo with my first and he hated it because it doesn't allow them to move their bodies from the armpits down. I've also heard it's not good to force a baby into a seated position if they aren't strong enough to sit on their own. I got rid of my Bumbo and I'm not going to bother with it this time.

She constantly is trying to sit herself up if she's laying down (obviously only her head lifts off the bed lol) but she has pretty good control of her for the most part it's just hard to carry her bouncer around the house lol

It's best to let babies lie flat and use any kind of baby chair sparingly. They develop the muscles needed for sitting when they are able to move freely.

We have an ingenuity seat (similar to a bumbo), and I waited until my oldest could sit on his own for at least a little bit. I'll do the same with Luke.

Be careful with Bumpos! I will never buy or use one, my sister did constantly with hers and they have bowed legs. I've heard it's very common because their legs grow in the curved shape that they are in the bumpo. I got a Sit Me Up seat, I think it's a newer baby item, and my 2 month old sits in it some. It's recommended for babies who can hold their head up. I also sit her up on the couch with me, if I rest her head where the cushions meet it supports her back from falling over. She loves sitting up so when I'm not holding her up on my lap those 2 options work! ???
