Missed eclipse

I missed the eclipse now my SO is pissed off at me, I was supposed to walk to his work to watch with him but at 7 while feeding her I fell asleep and woke up too late to go we would have been caught in the middle I didn't wanna risk her eyes , but he's still mad. I wanna go to his work still but I don't know if I should. What do you think ?
