SO being different
Since we found out I was pregnant my SO has been so different , he doesn't touch my belly at all , he thinks if try to wrestle with him I'll hurt the baby (7 weeks tomorrow) , he is really interested in what I can and cannot eat or drink which is amazing because he said he would do that with me so I didn't feel bad I couldn't have certain things , he's really interested in black Friday shopping for the baby like just a few basics to start out nothing too crazy, and he's pretty much planned our Christmas announcement, is anyone else's SO like this? It's just a little shocking since when I first found out he was iffy I was even pregnant but now he's getting excited lol

My SO is pretty similar. When we first found out i was pregnant he was sort of in shock and wasnt entirely sure how to feel since we weren't expecting to get pregnant because i was on the pill. I am 29 weeks and now he is telling me when i should eat and he makes me sit down all the time and he is super protective of me. I see it as a sign that he is going to be a great father to our little girl.

He tells me I'm eating for two all the time but I just can't eat a lot because it makes me feel nauseous , I know he's gonna be a great dad lol I just hope he gets over not touching my belly that will make me sad

Aw that's cute he's so excited! My hubby's been super excited and asking alot of questions to my midwife at appointments. I do the majority of planning though as far as announcements, baby shopping, etc but he is very involved and loves it all. My fave is when he rubs my belly and says hi to the baby (I don't even have much of a bump yet).

I think after my first ultrasound he might get more involved as far as touching my belly lol but I absolutely love how concerned he is and how much he wants to know :)
