I told my supervisor straight away as I was really sick and out of work a lot, he was very supportive, I also stopped doing nightshifts. He said I don't need to tell HR until 24 weeks which is when I need to notify them of my maternity leave.
I waited until I was 5 months and had a doctor's appointment. He asked if everything was alright and I blurted out that I'm expecting. Glad that's over with!
I told my Manager right away. I if 24/7 Morning Sickness. There was no way of hiding it. They honestly let me get away with a lot of things lol ... kind of spoiled there.
I told my boss right away because I am high risk and had to cut my hours. Eventually went on bedrest for a little while and then came back on reduced hours again. When it was almost time for maternity leave, she laid me off...i was told by a coworker that they wanted to do that before but felt I would sue them for discrimination. Now, it just looks like they got slow (which we did) and don't need me anymore...however, she gave me a good severance pay and said to contact her when I'm ready for work again and she will see if they can bring me back at least part time. I hope so because I loved my job!!!!
I'm only 5 weeks so morning sickness hasn't kicked in yet but as long as I can hide the symptoms, will wait until I start showing. Probably around 16 weeks
Yeah I work at a truck stop that requires me to clean the showers that we have with chemicals and occasionally lift heavy things so I thought it a good idea to tell him as soon as possible, I still need to talk to him about what it means though.
I told my boss when i was around 8-10 weeks along. I had already had morning sickness for 2-3 weeks at this point and it was getting too hard to try to continue hiding it so i pulled her aside and told her then. She was super excited though cause she's also pregnant and is due a bit more than a month before me lol
I waited until 8 weeks. I have continued to do all the physical stuff and heavy lifting but I didn't want to do any chemical treatments. It's formaldehyde and that stuff can't be good. So I had to tell so my manager can schedule others to do it.
I told my manager a few weeks after I found out because I was just too excited, however we are a very close work family and it's only a small shop with 6 members of staff including me so felt right telling them early on☺️

I told mine right away at 5 weeks when I found out. I'm a vet tech so between X-rays and anesthesia lots of risks my boss and I need to be aware of.
