I was the same,I booked private scan and baby was facing towards the back and suddenly because of the prodding baby moved forward facing and I finally felt my first little kick, I was 18weeks with my fourth so don't worry :) it's all about where baby is positioned he or she will soon move x

Ohh that might be it pp! Thank you! I just realized that at every scan I've had my lo is always facing my back.

I just went through this also. I'm currently 24+6 with our third child. I have an anterior placenta this time around, so it took a lot longer to feel him and I don't feel him near as much or as strong as with my other 2 kiddos. It bugs me and stresses me out quite often. Midwife said I will gradually start to feel him stronger (which I have to a point) but I can rarely feel him in the front through the placenta. I usually only feel him right above my pubic bone.

Exact same time line for my first 2, and it was like 18-19 weeks before I felt this little bugger moving! I'm a nurse and I would doppler and sometimes ultrasound myself once a week at work to make sure he or she was still in there! It was the strangest thing because for those few weeks where morning sickness subsided and before I felt the baby move, I sort of felt like I wasn't really pregnant! He or she will move for you soon :)

With my first I felt movement at 19w1d exactly. With this one I was 20weeks and some days. I just contributed it to the fact that I still had baby fat from my first one but now at 23 , almost 24 weeks, I feel her moving like all day everyday. ? kinda wish I could go back to before I could feel it so good , now I never sleep ! ??

Oh, also, baby was facing towards my back until about 20 weeks , so maybe that's why ?

I had twins and felt only flutters at 20wks. By 23wks though, I felt them roll, kick, ect!

It's crazy what a few weeks will do.
