Will I love this baby?
I feel so bad. Guilty even for feeling this way. Is it normal to question if I'll love my baby? I have a 9 month old that I love to death. And now that I'm 6 weeks pregnant I can't imagine loving him/her the way I love my baby boy. I can't really explain it but does anyone understand feeling this way?

Yes!! Ill be 13 weeks tomorrow an i keep thinking this. Like im very excited to be pregnant, BUT how can i ever love anyone the same as my Ds?

You will. I went through this when I had my second. I think it is a normal feeling but once baby comes, it is like you just over fill with love for all your babies

It's normal. I just had my second dd and I love her to death just like my first dd and my son.

Thank you! I've been so emotional. To be honest I also haven't really allowed myself to feel happy about the pregnancy yet. I had a few miscarriages before having my rainbow baby. I'd go for ultrasound, they wouldn't see a heartbeat and then I'd miscarry. My appt is on Monday and I just pray I can see a heartbeat.

Yes I felt the same when I was pregnant with my second and once he was born I fell in love with him and he's 15 months now and I do feel like I love them both the same

I'm the same way.. It's probably intensified because my son is my rainbow baby and i thank the stars for him everyday. I wonder "how could I ever share my heart with anyone else?!" My mom said our hearts just get bigger, sharing doesn't need to happen. That made me feel better.

I'll keep you in my thoughts for a sticky bean! I lost my son at 33 weeks, and have two rainbows. Just keep your faith. My dd1 was born 9weeks early. And my dd2 was born full term. I prayed for my babies every day and they are both healthy as can be.

I had the same exact fear! Everyone told me that the love just multiplied and I found it so corny and I had the toughest time believing it. But nothing could be more true. You'll love him/her just as much, and seeing your child become a sibling is amazing. Its as if you had this little piece missing the whole time and just didn't know it.

Pregnancy hormones make everything SO much worse. You'll love your baby.
