How fast does it work for diaper rash?? I've been using desitin on my 5 week old but it isn't getting better. If anything it's looking worse so I just used coconut oil instead. Does anyone know how fast it works? I feel so bad for him ?

Within a couple of days.
You can also try plain oatmeal. It worked wonders for my ds when he was 3 weeks.

In my experience, Desitin works faster than coconut oil for regular diaper rashes. However, keep in mind that yeast infections will not respond to Desitin at all.

Depends on the severity of the rash.
Virgin coconut oil is an anti fungal, anti viral, and anti bacterial...so it will help treat and prevent a yeast infection.
It's the only thing we ever used on ds and we never had an issue beyond a little redness from time to time that the CO would clear up by the next diaper change.
