I don't think so. I'm 5'9" and my husband is 6'4" and our baby is teeny tiny and so short. Haha at 2 months she was 30th percentile for height! But I definitely don't think she'll be short with the height we have in our families.

I think it's different for all babies because I've known some short babies that grow up to be pretty decent height or tall adults. As for my baby he's just a big boy all around so I don't doubt he's going to be tall like his dad lol. For sure both my girl and boy will be taller than me haha

There isn't any correlation at this age. It starts after couple of birthdays.

Okay, good! I won't mind if he is a shorty but I am still hoping he is at least 5'10 lol.

My baby is a giant. He can wear up to 9 months in long onesies bc he's so long!

Caellum's just now fitting into 6 months good for length. He's been wearing them for a bit though because he got too chunky for 3 months lol.

I hope it doesn't cause my oldest daughter won't be two till mid November and everyone thinks she's three. Blakeleigh is in the 96th percentile for height. I don't want them to be super tall like my son. But if they are I know they will still be gorgeous.

Nothing wrong with tall girls ??. I'm just 5'5 and apparently the average American woman is 5'4 1/2. Average man is 5'9 1/2. Caellum's dad is 5'11. Or so he says lol. I thought he was like 5'10.

@shainaboop Im also 5'5. One of my sisters are 5'7 and I find it looked strange when she was in heels and was bigger than her boyfriends. I have only ever been with guys that are 5'10 - 5'11. I dated a guy that was 5'7 once and stopped wearing heels unless we were going to a wedding or something. If they are tall I'm hoping they will be proportionate cause I see tall women looking a little too lanky or way to big. I better shut up or all the tall ladies will be at my throat. It seems on baby bump you can't always have an opinion or preference.

Yeah after their 2nd year appointment the pediatrician can do an estimate (basically a guess lol) on how tall they think they will be. My 2.5 year old has always been huge. He's 45lbs and people think he is 4 or 5. He has been huge since he was born. He has always been greater than 100th percentile for height and weight literally since birth and still was at his 2.5 year check up. My peds said that eventually it would slow down when he was a baby and then at 2 she was like well, he's just a big kid. She estimates based on growth that he will be at least 6'3". I am 5'7" and my husband is 6'1". So we will see lol (so that's my experience with the growth estimates)

Baby boy #2 was a pound smaller than my first (but longer) and he's now bigger than my first was at his age. 100% again for height and weight and will probably be the same. Apparently I just make huge kids. So here's hoping they are good at sports lol
