Having my first mommy's night out! Yesterday he turned 6 weeks old. I'm simultaneously excited and nervous to be away from him. He will be with my parents and my uncle though. I know my mother has been dying to have him all to herself for a little while. Wish me luck!

Girl enjoy yourself! You deserve it being a mom is hard work. Don't feel bad, my mom told me it's okay to have "me" time. It's actually important to or you'll go insane. Haha

Thanks ladies! Being a single mom my whole pregnancy makes it a little more exciting to have some interaction with people other than my immediate family and my baby lol. I know I will have some sep anxiety though, I'm already feeling it a little.

Thanks ladies! It was fun. I missed the little man but my mom sent me pics and updates nonstop so it wasn't so bad. He pretty much ate and then slept the whole time I was gone.
Bensmomma, it's okay! Everyone is different. I know women who were at the club like 3 weeks postpartum lol. The bar won't be a regular thing for me but I'm glad I got to go hang out with my old friends and have a few drinks.
