I guess you can tell which breast he fed off of the longest recently. For people wondering about the Medela pump in style, that's what I use on the lowest setting and I get 2-6 oz every time and I'm 10 days pp. I know some people don't respond to pumps well but I like this pump a lot. At first I made the mistake of thinking I needed to put the pump on a high setting to get more milk and that's definitely not the case, just causes more pain.

Awesome! I bought the same pump. Haven't had my baby yet though.

That's awesome! I have the same pump, insurance supplied. My sister is a lactation consultant and postpartum nurse and highly recommended it.

I wish.... 18 days and I'm pretty sure my supply is gone.
When I was producing tho - loved the pump. Low setting was doing the trick for me as well.
Tonight I got .3oz from both after 10 min.
Will try again tomorrow morning. If nothing comes out - I will just stop and perhaps donate the pump to someone who needs it.

Patrycjalai did you start pumping less, do you think that's why your supply dropped?

Patrycjalai...mine started to stop. I bought fenugreek. I take 2 a day 3 times a day , right after ever feeding i take 2 and a glass of milk and a small high caloried snack to make sure im getting enough calories. My suppy went from 1 oz per breast to almost 6oz per breast in 3 days. I pump every 2-4 hrs basically when he is hungry i pump. He has a hard time staying latched on my breast, and my hubby was sad he was missing the bonding time with our son, so i excessively pump with my medela pump in style. Hope this helps:)

I never thought to try the low setting, I've been using high . And it does hurt , lol. I get 3 oz but I pump after he's done feeding . Trying to stock up my milk supply for when I go back to work . I'll try the low Setting, I'm 5 day pp

I have a hand pump at home but now I'm the hospital I'm using medela symphony and it's brill. I do use it on a high setting though just because it seems quicker to me. 6days pp and I'm getting 150ml/5ounces(altogether from the two breasts) per pumping. I think this pump is amazing, I'm considering getting a medela pump for home now.

I pump 5 times a day - 10 min per boob. I will try the fenugreek. I am giving myself until Sunday. After that I'm done. I am not upset about not breastfeeding - it is what it is. But I hoped to save up a little more milk to give her when she is sick/not feeling the greatest.
I gave her boob for couple min so she can stimulate it - but she gets bored so quickly and just kinda plays with the nipple.
Thank you ladies.

Wss^^^pump as often as baby would feed every 2-3hrs... pump 5 more min after milk stops to help increase supply. Good luck mama! http://www.breastbottleandbeyond.com
