Caellum Shain, born June 2nd at 2:23 PM at 37+4. He's perfect, 6 lb 15 oz and 20 inches. He's been such a good baby, lots of sleeping and he has latched on quite a few times and sucked but he doesn't stay on long lol. Hoping he picks it up soon. It was a long labor, about 24 hours. He was born with the assistance of a vacuum because he did not want to come on his own, he had his head turned a way that no matter how much I pushed he would not get free. One push push with the vacuum and he was almost all the way out, one more push without it and there he was! It was a very hard labor, I opted for an epi after 10 hours when the pit and them breaking my waters was so painful that I started vomiting. I don't regret it because of how much longer it went on, everything took about 24 hours. Not my birth plan but I'm just happy he's here and it was vaginal.

Awwwww he's here congrats !!! He's adorable ! It's like we just found out yesterday we were pregnant. I'm glad you both are doing well.

Congratulations! He's absolutely perfect. Im trying to prep myself cause labor has been close to twenty hours for both my kids.

Thank you ladies! He's been a joy so far, he's in perfect health. When he's awake he's very alert, but I think the long labor wore him out too. He will latch on to breastfeed but only sucks about 5 times and then stops and will do it again 3-5 times so I hope he will be more awake tomorrow and stay on longer. I've also been pumping and giving him what tiny bit of colostrum comes of that. He has soiled two diapers since birth though so I think he's getting something!

Congrats! ? he's adorable. My little boy did that when he was born but was very lazy and even though midwives said he had a great latch they said he had a weak suck. He was only drinking enough to quench the hunger, not fill himself up. So I ended up having to supplement with pumped milk also. Hoping for a better go this time around ☺️
