I've been single my whole pregnancy, and the dad seemed interested in the baby all of about two weeks before saying he didn't want anything to do with us and disappearing. While my situation isn't ideal, I don't mind being single and pregnant at all. I've always been very independent and okay with being alone. And the support I get is amazing from friends, family and even strangers (women and men alike). Nobody has given me a hard time or been anything but encouraging. I've been open about my situation on social media, and moments like this make me happy about it. When I get messages from girls who are in similar situations and tell me that I help motivate them. Just a proud mommy moment for me that I wanted to share. This wasn't the extent of the whole conversation, but I'm glad that women feel they can reach out to me for questions if they have no one else.

Girl men ... they think with there ( you know what's) you will be fine without him and the extra . Trust by time baby is 2 weeks old he will be surfacing around trying to see and hold the baby . By then he will be crying how bad of a father he is ???. Independent women turn me off they want us to be needy

I used to joke around that I did not ever want a husband, I just wanted a sperm donor to make a baby. Well it seems like I got what I wanted, even though that wasn't my intention at the time lol. But I'm surprised at the fact that I've had men who were into me before tell me they would love to be my son's dad and love him like their own. Maybe someday, but if not I'm happy keeping all of my son's love to myself.
