I just saw this post on Facebook, one of my friends shared it. I had just been thinking about this because of a post where a mom said she would be overprotective of her little girl around men. There's nothing wrong with that, but please remember that pedophiles usually don't care about gender! And pedophiles can be women too. I'm a sexual assault victim advocate and most people don't even know how many men get sexually assaulted and are too ashamed to say anything.
