Rosemarym, the gas mileage and price. And the space! That's what made me choose the Honda CR-V. Plus it had great reviews. I love it already. Got it for a great price too. $23,500 before taxes and everything. My monthly car payment is actually lower now by about $100.

Kristin, this lady at work kept telling me that and it was another thing that pushed me to go through with it. Better on my back so I won't be leaning down. Plus the dogs can ride in the back and won't be bothering the baby.

My husband and I are currently SUV shopping too! Do you find it has plenty of space in the back for an infant car seat? Some seem so tight back there!

I'd also like to recommend the Subaru Forester for a similar size suv. We've had ours for a few years and it's worked well with our first son who is now 2. Taken it on plenty of long road trips and have been able to fit everything. It's all wheel drive and subarus get excellent safety ratings. Both Hondas and subarus retain their value.

I got an SUV August 31st and found out I was pregnant October 3rd. Apparently the vehicle had special powers. Haha

Congratulations, pretty mama! Getting a mommy car is so exiting lol. My first mommy car was a Nissan Rogue. Now with 3 kids plus one on the way, had to get something with a third row!

Bought the new Ford Edge when we were planning for the baby. I LOVE it so much.

We're looking to get an SUV too since we will be having baby #2, but with my husband being 6'2, it makes it more work find one just right with space where he can put his seat all back and someone fit behind him lol, he hates sitting in the passenger seat right now cuz our daughter is on that side and she is also tall so he cant be comfortable lol

Congrats on the new car! SUVs are great! Plus you can use the trunk as a changing table when you're out and about with baby. So many perks! ?
