Random I think about the most random things now, like how I can't wait to sing the song "Simple Man"…

Seeing my husband with a baby again. The smell of baby laundry too..... I could smell baby clothes all day. Lol

Oooo the laundry does sound nice.

It is the best.... I have been pulling out some of our baby stuff little by little and all the things that I had washed prior to storing smell amazing. Lol my husband laughs at me because I just sit and smell it all.... brings back so many memories.

I also look forward to late night feedings. There is something so special about sitting in the dark and absolute quiet feeding your baby and just holding them. Awesome,

It's definitely going to be a change! I'm not in an easy situation as far as the father goes, but I know there are moms out there who have/had it way worse.

In all honesty... dad's don't do anything for the first few months anyway.. lol and by then you have your own routine down anyway. You got this.

That song is one of my favorites, but it was the song my husband and MIL danced to at our wedding so it holds a special place in my heart.

As far as taking care of babies either way you're alone. My first husband and I separated and divorced before my first daughter was born. It was just me...and I simply did what I had to do, which was fine...But With my second I honestly just felt wronged all the time, like why tf am I always doing everything and you don't do crap? For me it was much easier the first time around where expectations were zero...It's much easier to deal with when you know exactly what to expect cause even telling yourself not to expect anything is super difficult.

I'm looking forward to the first time they hug you back. Since the day they're born you hold them and hug them and kiss them and love them so much but the most amazing feeling in the world comes the first time THEY hug you.

Also although it's frustrating (at times) to have a baby glued to you all the time...I find comfort in the fact that when something goes wrong my daughter (now 3) always wants me and not my husband lol. He tries so hard to console her but she will straight tell him "I'm not talking to you" or "No! I want mommy to do it!" I shouldn't, but I L?VE it!!! For me it's like hahaha that's what you get for not changing diapers and doing baths, and bringing her straight to me every time she cried in the middle of the night
