Huge baby!
I had an ultrasound today at 35+2and baby is estimated at a whooping 6.7 pounds already! 98th percentile. My DH was almost 10 pounds at birth so he's probably gonna be like his daddy. Kinda scared about it, I had an easy delivery without pain meds for DD but she was 7.15 pounds. I don't know how this one will go.
My first baby was 9.1 pounds (had such an easy delivery with him!) my doctor had estimated that he would be 7 and a half pounds... They were waaaay off.
This baby is currently measuring at 6 pounds and I'm 38 weeks. Doctor said he would get to about 8 and a half pounds if I get to 40 weeks.
I'm not listening to them though because they were wrong about my first baby lol!
I don't know what my doctor will say about it. I'm in Canada so there is a lot less inductions/ c-sections due to size of babies (not that I'd want a c-section though). A friend's baby was estimated at 12 pounds and she had a vaginal delivery (baby was 10 pounds). I'll have to wait until my appointment next week and talk to her about it.
I am. I went in for a growth ultrasound at exactly 35 weeks and my big man measured 6 weeks ahead and 8lbs on the dot. ?
I need to return my newborn clothes. Lol
My two daughters who were born around 37 to 38 weeks were just over 8lbs. My husband was 12lbs and 24 inches. So I'm thinking this lil man is taking after his daddy.
Me. I go in for a size scan on the 5th of January. I was born 10p14 and have had 2 8p15 girls but measured 40cm at my 35.5w scan.
I think I will be induced after the scan. I am having an elective epidural for this one so I'm not worried about the pain.
I'm just so uncomfortable!!!
At 37 weeks they estimated LO to be 7lb13oz which has caused me to become extremely nervous. I know they can be off but he's measured big for my entire pregnancy. I have another growth scan on Wednesday (39 wks) so we will see if I get induced because of it or not.
