Zoe’s 2 month photo! I go back to work next month, and I just found out I have high lipase so my freezer stash of over 800oz May taste metallic and smell soapy! So far I can only get her to drink 4 weeks back, but anything further than that is a no at the moment ?. So now I scald my milk to 180 degrees at night after she gets to bed. With breastfeeding and pumping and washing all bottles and pump pieces I’m tired! Lol

Pp I took out frozen milk that I pumped a week after Zoe was born and it smelled soapy/metallic like. So I took some more out and same smell/taste. My husband said it tasted like a penny/blood like. I found that she won’t take anything that’s more then 4 weeks old. So little by little I will add some of my old milk stash to my new one to use it.
Yeah she took a 4 week old breastmilk, but nothing older so I’m gonna use what I can and maybe put a ounce at a time from the milk that’s older, fingers crossed. Stupid lipase lol and thank you! My oldest daughter was ready to donate all her old stuffed dolls! Can’t wait to make more themed photos lol
Hey :) 3rd time exclusively pumping and a trick I learned is if you get the vanilla extract without alcohol and put a drop in the milk most babies will drink the high lipase milk. If you wanted to give that a try ?
