There are pressure points on the foot and ankle that can start contractions. So it's not really a myth. However, they would have to apply a lot of pressure and hit the right spots for it to do anything.

I would certainly go and pamper yourself. But if you want to be on the safe side, ask them not to massage like pp said.

You can go but I would just ask that they not massage the ankles/feet. But they could still soak them, scrub them, moisturize them and polish them. Have fun!
