I just went to the chiropractor for this yesterday because I heard it could help. He popped everything back into place. I'm a little sore and still have some pain but I'd say it's about 70% better already. I'm able to get in and out of the car easier and I was able to roll over in bed last night with minimal effort. Before that I had to ask my husband to flip me. I can lift my legs more than before though not all the way. I'm thinking maybe one more adjustment and it'd be gone.

I ordered my serola sacroiliac belt off of amazon. It's the one my pt recommended. She said regular maternity belts can help but not as much as one specific for the issue.

Walmart carries them and motherhood should also have them

Anyone know where I might be able to get a maternity belt??

We don't have many stores around here that have maternity items.... We do have a motherhood maternity ( I think that's the name). Do u think I could get one there?? Or any online stores I could get one??

FYI SPD stands for symphysis pubis dysfunction. Ur symptoms are almost identical. A maternity belt would be very beneficial to u I think. At least give it a try. Good luck hun and feel better

Yeah I figured out last night that I had to sit down to put my pants on, I tried to lift my leg to put it in the pants leg, and ended up in tears, so DH made me sit down and put them on me for me.... I felt helpless...

Another thing I was confused on, is when I left hospital, they said no lifting anything, very minimal walking/stairs, and no sex... If its just RLP why these restrictions, I have never heard of these restrictions only for RLP...

And the nurse said I could try pelvic tilts and warm baths, and take Tylenol to help... I told her I had tried all that and it didn't even help a tiny bit.. She said well that's all u can do..

I am so lost and confused, just can't wait till Monday when I can talk to my actual doctor about it..

Sounds alot like SPD! It's extremely painful and is due to ur pubic bone separating further than normal. It tends to happen if u are carrying a big baby but it can happen to anyone really. My last pregnancy I had it so bad I would crawl to the bathroom and back

If it's constant it's more likely spd than rl. Get a sacroiliac (I had a serola) belt and find a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic issues.

Avoid stairs and sit to put your pants /underwear on. Keep your legs together getting out of bed, the car, etc.

My rlp always came n went. I had the same symptoms as you n it was my pelvis separating early. All they could do was a special belt to help hold the hips together n help hold the weight of my bump up. I just can't think of the name of it =\

Your baby is probably putting allot of pressure down there and your hoops are starting to widen. I feel like this to sometimes.
