If you had sex or an internal exam a few days before then its perfectly safe and normal. As long as there is no blood or as long as you don't notice clear fluid leaking out afterwards

I called doc, she is sending me to L&D to be checked... She says it was most likely was my mucus plug and wants me to be checked for dilation just in case..

it was part of mucous plug..but ull b fine it regenerates back

I'm 25 weeks and I think I have been losing mine, it does regenerate though and the dr. said as long as there is no blood in it I'm fine.

Idk if its your plug but i remember losing mine last time and it was thick with a green/ brown color and had blood in it a bit. I was in l&d at 27 weeks for random bleeding and they said i may have lost my plug but when you lose it that early it usually regenerates itself. They said no sex for 2 weeks just in case. Its always good to ask your dr if your concerned

It sounds like it is. But I've also heard it can grow back. So that might be what's going on
