So we ended up getting the graco milestone cuz the joie every stage wouldn't fit in all the cars (We don't drive,we needed a seat that would fit in multiple cars) and I wana get one of these but it says the harness needs to be removable and I'm not sure if it is or not... I know in America most carseats come with this clip already including the milestone so I'm assuming I'll be able to get it on my one but not sure.. anyone know? Ftm so I don't know anything about carseats lol ( also I've misplaced the instructions as we changed our room around or I'd check in there)

I think here the straps are used only to stop little ones getting their arms out. Our cars are made differently and seats tested to a different standard. I'm not sure about the straps on your car seat but most are remove able to allow for the car seat to be cleaned xx

In America the seats are made differently. The chest clip is to keep the straps in place.
Over here we don't need them because the straps are made differently. They're also not safe to use over here.

I'm sure the clips aren't legal here. Like pp said our seats are made differently and also crash tests are done differently.
I may be wrong, but I think it's illegal to import car seats from America and use them here ? not 100% sure

They have the graco milestone carseat in smyths and it has the straps that we use on our carseats. It doesnt have the chest clip x
