It's the first time I've made a blanket so I cast on 100 stitches and im on my second ball of wool.. just guna keep knitting till i run out of wool(still got a full ball of wool aswell) lol my mum made me one the same when she was pregnant with me (: and if it ends up big he'll be able to use it as he gets bigger too (: x

Looks lovely. The bigger the better I say. All my lb blankets seemed massive when he was little. Look small now and wish they were bigger x

I've only made a scarf and a hat before, so had no idea how big I was ment to do this but yeah the bigger the better! (: x

What wool did you use?

What stitches is it. Just knit or something more complicated?

It's a baby wool(not sure where from as it was a Christmas present) and it's called spider stitch.. it's all the same stitch but the first half I was pulling it tight as I done it and then I stopped pulling it tight and it makes bigger holes

i used to have a blanket like this when I was younger kept me so warm. Looks great I would love to learn how to knit and crochet but I just can't do it lol xx

So did I! My mum knitted one when she was pregnant with me (: It was my mum that taught me to knit about 2years ago (: altho this is only the 3rd thing I've made/making since learning lol just hope I get it finished on time!x
