One don't need to worry about child drowning if one sits beside the bath at all times

В ожидании первенца
That's true!

It is a good idea but the drowning 'point' is so stupid

It's more for toys not running away. I use baby dam to partition half the bath and shower mat. And sit next to my little boy at all times

I don't leave my kids in the bath on there own and i would never dream of leaving my baby but even if a parent did would a baby no how to "pull themselves up" if they slipped under the water? I wouldn't be so certain?

If the baby tries to stand up in it or pull themselves up, wouldn't it just tip over? I think it's a good idea but I know these baskets to be a bit flimsy.

Baby could easily fall forward and then what? Nothing to stop it going face down! But this trick is good to keep toys from going astray more than it is for anti drowning purposes x
