20 week anatomy scan! Everything looked good except doc said he has a tiny fluid cyst called a Chroiod Plexus cyst on his brain. She says it's completely normal and they usually go away on their own, but I'm still a bit worried. They said everything else was good so she's not worried about chromosomal abnormalities or anything, but I still had my blood drawn to run some tests. Has anyone had babies that had a CPC that went away and went on to have a healthy baby?

My doctor was found with an EFI bright spot on her heart doctor said it was completely normal but I couldn't help but google it and gave myself anxiety.
So I understand completely how you feel. Hopefully we both can relax

My second daughter had two, and I was so worried! Two weeks later they were gone, and she's a completely normal 5 year old now!

Hi, I had an anatomy scan today and the doctor said my baby has the same cyst as you. She told me it is nothing to worry about... I already took the chromosome test and were low risk for everything. I am an anxious person but I am not going to worry about this.. you shouldn't either! It will go away before birth.

Thank you so much! I hope everything is okay as well. They took my blood too and said if they saw anything wrong they'd give me a call but if not we'll just go over everything at my next appointment ? It's just so hard not to worry!

Haven't had experience personally but we see these kind of cysts in the NICU from time to time and they usually resolve on their own even after birth ? stay positive mama! And congrats on your munchkin ?
