I couldn't wait!
So, little back story, I've had 2 MC's in the past and am currently due 1/22 having every textbook symptom in the book. I am having some insurance issues due to starting a new job and as it stands I won't be able to have an ultrasound until HOPEFULLY July 5th. To me, that seems like a LIFETIME. By then I'd be between 11-12 weeks. I found a place almost an hour away from me that does private ultrasounds, 2D, 5min, abdominal with 2 b&w pictures to take home. All for $25! I made an appointment and I go next Friday the 23rd which should put me at between 9-10 weeks. Is this too early for an abdominal ultrasound or do y'all think that they will be able to really see something? I don't want to waste two hours driving in the car if they won't be able to see much.

You should be able to see baby that far along!!!

Just had an abdominal at 9 weeks. Granted it is a bit blurry and fuzzy but can make out baby and see heartbeat flicker on the screen. Definitely worth it to put your mind at ease. You should definitely be able to see the heartbeat.

They should be able to see. I have an extremely retroverted uterus so it's basically in my back lol and I had an abdominal US at 10 weeks she had to press hard but she found it lol

Thanks so much for the input ladies. I know I am overly anxious from past experience but it's hard not to be. One of my MC's was a blighted ovum and my uterus grew and I felt pregnant and didn't know there was no baby until my 10 week ultrasound so I'm REALLY wanting to get an ultrasound and see a baby❤ I feel like that's the only thing that will ease this anxiety is to see a healthy baby.
