We haven't told our kids about the new baby bc of our history of so many mc's and this baby's gest sac is abnormally shaped. We are waiting until it's a little safer or until baby has died. So we told my 8 yr old ds that there would be a babysitter again this week bc mom and dad are going out (to a dr appt and u/s which will be our 3rd time this month but we didn't tell him where we are going). He said "ok but will you bring me back a souvenir?" Dh and I just looked at each other and smiled and said maybe!
