Nah no doctor but I've had a colic baby ? and that's colic signs right there for you ?

Yeah it's hard I've been there, you're doing amazing. Glad he's more settled xx

Sorry Chelsea 89 didn't realise you were a doctor! It's actually normal for a breast feeding baby to do this and no I don't think my comment was condescending but if you take it out of context and don't quote the rest of the comment like you have then yes maybe.

Glad things are going better for you x

Christ hangod was your comment meant to be condescending ? "just feed him it's as simple as that" think she knows that ? she's clearly describing colic signs though so he's feeding that much to comfort his self obviously it's as simple as that ?

It's great he's settled now with infacol chick it's not nice having a screaming baby, bet it's nice to be able to look after your other little ones now as well x

The infacol worked he is settled between feeding which he hasn't been for a while, he's always fed a lot so I know when he is cluster feeding but this wasn't normal the way he was going on in between feeds he was in pain and was so awful broke my heart, he is sleeping and looks so peaceful, I wish I could just sit and leave hubby to it with the others but my oldest has complex needs and won't settle for anyone but me so if I don't get him to sleep he doesn't sleep at all so I'm really glad it's helped him as I got to get my oldest settled and asleep before he was due to feed again ? x

Sounds more like cluster feeding than colic to me. Both my breastfed boys have done this at this age. Just feed him, it's as simple as that but I know it's not easy when you have older siblings. Helps if you have dads help, I just gave in to it and sat and fed him and partner sorted other child. It doesn't last forever. If you need to do stuff with other children a sling will help as you can feed whilst walking and doing other things xxx

Aw colic and cluster feeds! My little one was the same! Gripe water and feeds worked for him now he is 11 weeks and I have had 4-5 weeks of settled baby routine. Bath 6pm, feed once and down by 7 no tears or tantrums and I give gripe water twice during the day

Hope it settles soon. We had to use infacol and in the evenings chamamilla granules (usually behind counter or in teething aisle)

Diluted in water given every 15 mins never got past three doses - my best friend for colic and teething xx

Thank you ladies I could only get infacol so I'm using that I really hope it helps him he seems in so much discomfort poor thing x

Sounds like cluster feeding which is normal at that age.

Try using gripe water or infacol

I'm a single mum of 2 so know how hard it can be, my lg used to do this when it was my sons bedtime.

It does get easier xx

My younger two did this. At least he's consoled when you are feeding him. If you stopped feeding him how would you console him then ? It doesn't last forever I promise you and sometimes I even miss those evenings when we would sit cuddling. I have 4 children so I know it's hard but you are doing great.

I would also agree colic. My lg would go from about 5-9pm every single night screaming and crying and nothing would comfort her. That was from about 5 weeks to 3 months and it was exhausting. Completely feel for you Hun but I assure you it's not you doing anything wrong xx

Cluster feeding? Sounds a lot like it Hun, especially if he's been attached for 4 hours. Have Netflix and snacks ready x
