Kikismum - this was the front, but his entire back looked like this! Turns out that we think it was the aloe vera gel they gave him to sooth it that caused it. He didn't bother using it the first two treatments but did the third time when this happened. He kept slathering it on for days on their advice.
That's great your dh has seen such good results. My dh was meant t be the perfect candidate - fair skin, dark hair. He's so self conscious of his hairy back :-(
My dh didn't want to make a fuss. He hates confrontation, which drives me nuts! I was so mad about the whole thing, especially since I'd paid half of the package for his birthday present. Plus, after the 3 sessions he had there was no difference whatsoever.
It was pretty localised. It spread maybe a few cms around the area that was lasered (that we'd applied aloe Vera to).
This was a little while ago. He's fine now thanks, just has an aversion to laser hair removal!
Yep, I emailed this photo and one of his back. They said he must have exercised afterwards or done something to aggravate it. He didn't. Came home and put the gel on. They advised to continue the aloe vera gel. It clicked to me a few days later it was making it worse. It started to die down gradually after that. The 2 girls I spoke to sounded like they were 12. Not impressed to say the least.
It was insane! I don't think he slept for a week. If you're looking at laser hair removal maybe steer clear of any after treatment products they recommend. Cold, wet face washers and not overheating is the best bet. They were so rude when I called. We also lost over $1200 as we'd paid upfront for 6 sessions and he refused to go back after this!
Wat the hell!! Where was this done at?
