Birth techniques?
What is everyone doing/ done in the past as far as birthing techniques? Last time I tried hypnobirthing but I caved at 5cm and got the epi..... I want to try it again and I'm getting my DH involved so he can keep me on track. Hopefully it works!
Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
anyone done the grapefruit technique? I'm so outtaline I know... but I know I'm not the only one...

How come theres no group for birth/labour experiences? As a first time mom, I want to know your stories! I want to have a natural birth, at home. Preferably in a birth pool. Tell me about yours!

Just going to breath through the pain and keep my mom in mind who had me all natural. I keep telling myself even now that if she can do it and other moms before epis can do it, so can I!

Last time I got an epidural and had an episiotomy. This time I'm going in with the big guns - hypnobirthing ready, doula, and having done perineal massage to help avoid tearing or another episiotomy! I'm excited :D. Especially because my doula is gonna be taking pics of the first time I hold baby girl! I never got that with my first :)

I am planing using hot showers, heating pad, tens unit, ice packs, and frankincense...

Oh and I am planning on staying home as late as possible so I have zero options. And I am going to harp on hubby NO EPIDURAL!!

Hypnobirthing, had a c-section with my dd. At my hospital I won't be able to receive an epidural being that I'm trying a VBAC. So I'm really hoping I'm practicing the hypnobirthing right. ?

Breathing. WATER!!!! The water was what gave me 3 natural births! I labored in the shower and it was so amazing having the hot water hit my back. Definitely made the contractions manageable☺️

Oh and what I recommend as a certified doula is staying home as long as possible if you are wanting a natural hospital birth.
