^that's awesome! My OH would love to be a SAHD if he lost his job but I wouldn't let him as I can just picture him leaving my lo in his travel cot all day in front of the tv :-( so I'd force him to look for another job! So he's not good enough for me to 'keep' at home ? obviously I would temporarily. If he stimulated my lo, took him to classes, took him swimming, took him for walks to feed the ducks etc then I would but my OH is the indoors type, a slight gush of wind is enough to keep him indoors but he will play golf in all weather! So over my dead body would he get to be a SAHD!

My husband stays at home with the boys while I go to work, he cooks, cleans, does the nursery run and trips to park etc....... I don't let him loose shopping or we'd have cupboards full of sweeties and cakes ? we are equal and I do my share on weekends and evenings. I pay for everything and all of us, Don't think that would happen in the 50's xx
