Proof of address? Will a NSW photo ID card work as proof of address or do we need some form of utility bill, etc?

I think you need a utility bill in your name. I know a lot of places don't take licence as proof of residence

Okay well here's the dilemma.. We're in Sydney (from Newcastle) and we've literally just moved.. As in, got the keys on Mondays. We have nothing with the new address on it, we need it for tomorrow and now have no idea what to do. We only found out today we needed this. ?

Go to your bank change it to your new address and then get a bank statement printed off ? it will then have your new address on it

Your lease? If your renting..

We have moved in with my mum to save on rent so no lease, but even if we were it's not something we'd have handy. As I said, we didn't know we needed proof of address today. :| thanks for the suggestion though!

We changed the address online so maybe tomorrow before he goes where he has to he can go into bank to get statement printed. Thank you!

Ohh I see, If motor registration is opened before your bank you can fill out a quick form and they'll print a change of address sticker and put it on the back of you drivers licence/proof of age card. Well that's what they do in SA, if you change it online though they will send your sticker out.

You could also change your billing address with your mobile provider and get them to email you something official, like a bill or statement.
