Currently on hold with centrelink. my expected wait time is 15 minutes.. HAHA, yeah right! ;) lol. Bubs is due in a month, so I figured I should get a move on with claiming for FTB etc.. Having trouble with the income questions, as it's asking for MY estimated taxable income for the 14/15 financial year, however I haven't worked and I have no clue if Youth Allowance is taxable..

If you call the family line and specify ftb or something similar to the computer lady they generally offer you a call back service so you don't have to stay on the phone but still hold your place in the queue

Oh, stupid, stupid me. There was a link on the page that took me to another page which literally showed me how much taxable income I have.
I was on hold for 13 minutes before I realised this. Hehe, oops!

Yes YA is taxable same as parenting payment. The only one that isnt is FTB. You will need to estimate how much YA you have recieved and add on how much parenting payment you will get which will probably be a guess for now (max rate for partnered is about $470 f/night). Just over estimate a extra bit its always better that way u dont end up owing them money.
