Holiday without me. ?

I know I shouldn't be, but I am. I just feel left out.

I was suppose to be going away with mum and my sister next month somewhere for a small holiday, but now she's cancelled so she can save up for Fiji next year.

And I have no friends.. Hahah.

Could you and your hubby go and stay at a close resort so you can be involved in some of the activities?

They've said no males, so I don't think they'd be too happy if we did tag along - even if it were in another resort.

I think SO and I will just save up for our own family holiday for when baby cakes is a bit older :)

Oh that's sad. My family do things all the way. If one goes, we all go. I'd be upset too.

I think that's really horrible. I would be upset too. Especially if you are now on baby sitting duties and haven't even been asked if that was ok.

The next family gathering after it might be awkward when they're all talking about it, but I'll just hug my son tighter. I wouldn't trade him for anything, let alone a holiday.

All I'm saying is I better receive a nice gift when they return ;) hahah. Kidding! But I'll be okay, I'll get over it. It's not worth being upset over! I just needed to get it off my chest. It helped.

I'd be upset too. Is there a reason they're going next year? Why not last year or in 2 years? Or are they doing it every few years?

@LittleMara, I have no idea. My Aunty literally just got back from Bail like a month ago. I think she got an offer or discount or something because she's gone away quite a bit in the last few years (never invited any of us before..?)

It'll suck, but what can I do? I won't tell them not to go because of me. Maybe in another few years we can all go again.
