The way i see it is u can always buy more as u need it. As long as u have enough to get started. I used maybe a quarter of wat i had for dd as i liked certain things do she would wear it id wash it n she would wear it again
Yep, I second more long sleeved and armed wondersuits. With zips cos doing press studs up at 2 am is a nightmare.
Singlets are a pain cos the ride up the back and you're forever pulling them down, get a short sleeved singlet onesie instead. And forget about socks, the onesies that come with feet are the best (like the bonds ones that you can either fold down to make socks and mittens- if Bubs has big feet then you won't be able to use the ones with 'built in' feet, I had this problem with dd)
I would suggest you'll need at least 2-3 a day, depending on how much bubs vomits and wees on themselves as you're changing the nappy, and then it depends on how often you want to do washing.
My dd is 3 months and still lives in bonds wondersuits and singlet onesies, I got over looking 'cute' or 'nice' in favour of her comfort and easy changing pretty quickly.
Even if you don't have a baby shower, you'll find that most people will still give you a gift, and it'll likely be clothes:)
I rarely used the singlets or socks. Clip up singlet suits are great, I didn't have nearly enough of those. And we used footed suits so didn't really need socks. Really depends how big bub is too. We needed way more 000 stuff than 0000 because he was big.
Maybe a couple more 000 all in ones but apart from that I'd wait. You can always shop online after bub is born and you know what size you need. It only takes a couple of days for clothes to arrive and you've got enough for that. I ended up with so many 000 outfits that were never worn with my first. Everyone said they grow so quickly but she didn't. It was summer before all the 000 stuff fit and it was too hot for most of it. Even my second who was a very average 3.5kg was in 0000 for 6 weeks.

I'd defiantly get more long sleeve jumpsuits, singlets, pants and long sleeve shirts in 000.

I think more long sleeve jumpsuits/wondersuits. My dd lives in them because I find shirts and pants annoying, they always ride up or pants slip down.

No, I'm just thinking of ordering 9 singlets, 4 pants, 4 long sleeve shirts, and 6 jumpsuits. all in size 000.

Definetly more socks and some mittens.
Ds only really wore onesies with the button up singlets underneath. He was born in the middle of winter.
