Confused So when I went for my 12 week scan I should of been 12w2d and they said I was measuring 13…

It’s a guideline on 7+/- days. Your baby can be growing faster too.

With my first, at my first appt. They said she was measuring small so they moved the date back, the whole rest of my pregnancy they said I was measuring 2 weeks ahead! She was born 17 days before the due date they changed it to, but basically right on time from what they were measuring, she was 8 lbs. 9oz and 21 inch so she was right on time

I don’t understand how my dates can change even without a scan. Obviously I was measuring a week ahead that why she changed my due date but then whenever I see midwife it’s always different to what I think.. so confusing lol

Ask them for clarification. My OB doesn't change my due date after my initial dating scan. Sometimes my baby measures ahead, sometimes behind. It varies but my due date always stays the same.

Last time I was at my OB they told me a I was 17w3d but on the app it said 16w6d...but they still have my due date the same so not sure how they calculated the weeks and days.

With my first I measured a couple days off but they kept my estimated due date from my LMP. My midwife said they usually only change it if you're measuring a week or more off.

With this pregnancy (#2) at my dating scan at what we thought was 9 weeks due to LMP baby was measuring at 10 weeks so my dr changed my due date to 1 week earlier. Dr said I may have ovulated early.

My sister had her due date changed back 2 weeks due to the baby's measurements with her first baby. Her dr said she probably ovulated late. So you never know anything can happen and you could have ovulated early or late :)

Geewnwaves that’s the same as me.. even looked in my book as it says 13w0d at my scan so how I can possible move 2 days ahead again is beyond ?
